Hope Across borders

Bringing Aid to Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Nigeria

In 2024, marking 20 years of service, the Development and Relief Foundation (DRF) committed to expanding its humanitarian reach—providing critical aid wherever the need is the greatest. In areas devastated by war, violence, and natural disasters, humanitarian aid is urgently needed, and DRF remains steadfast in its mission to provide critical relief. As a member of the United Nations NGO community, DRF is dedicated to advancingglobal progress and actively supports the Sustainable Development Goals. Byprioritizing food security and economic stability in vulnerable regions, DRF aims to contribute to eradicating poverty and hunger by 2030.

Gaza & Lebanon

Gaza and Lebanon: Relief and Recovery for War-Affected Communities

In Lebanon, the war has forced thousands of families to seek temporary refuge in Karbala and Najaf, Iraq. DRF aided over 1,340 displaced families with financial assistance, food, clothing, shelter, and education for children.
While some families have returned to their war-damaged homes in Southern Lebanon, many remain in Iraq, unable to return home. DRF remains committed to supporting families wherever they are, offering hope and the opportunity to rebuild through trusted partnerships.
In Gaza, despite severe challenges in delivering aid directly, DRF partnered with International Medical Corps to support a field hospital in Rafah, providing urgent medical care to injured civilians suffering life-altering injuries due to the war.

Yemen

Yemen: Addressing Hunger and Hardship

Yemen faces one of the world's most severe humanitarian emergencies, with over 19.5 million people in need and 17 million suffering from food insecurity. The impact on children is particularly heartbreaking.
Through our UK-based partner, Lady Fatima Charitable Trust, DRF delivers vital food aid to families across Yemen. As the crisis continues, DRF remains dedicated to sustaining and expanding this essential effort.

Nigeria

Nigeria: Support for Vulnerable Communities

In Nigeria, where 40% of the population lives below the poverty line, DRF has partnered with Suhairat Charity Foundation in Gombe to provide monthly hot meals for 150 vulnerable individuals—primarily women and children—facing severe food shortages.
Despite challenges, including corruption risks, DRF works with trusted local partners to ensure that every donation reaches those who need it most.
